Platform and Cloud Engineer

Siesta AI runs as SaaS, in private customer clouds and in environments where infrastructure, networking and security requirements look nothing like a typical SaaS product.

We are looking for a Platform and Cloud Engineer to own the infrastructure and the engineering platform that let us deploy Siesta AI securely and repeatedly across all of those environments.

What you will work on

• Design and operate our Azure infrastructure.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code.
• Automate deployments across our cloud and customer environments.
• Improve CI/CD and release processes in Azure DevOps.
• Design networking, private connectivity and secure service architecture.
• Operate containerized workloads and application infrastructure.
• Build reusable deployment patterns for private customer installations.
• Improve monitoring, observability, reliability and disaster recovery.
• Work closely with engineering on platform architecture and developer tooling.
• Help us make deployments increasingly portable beyond Azure.

Technologies you will touch

Azure is our primary infrastructure, but Siesta AI also needs to run in private cloud and on-premises environments, so we are interested in people who think beyond a single cloud provider.

• You understand cloud infrastructure well beyond clicking through a portal.
• Infrastructure as code is your default, not an afterthought.
• You understand networking, identity, secrets and security boundaries.
• You have built CI/CD and production deployment systems.
• You are comfortable debugging problems across application and infrastructure layers.
• You care about automation and hate doing the same deployment manually twice.
• You enjoy turning complicated infrastructure into a repeatable platform.
