Keep Siesta AI close to your work
Important context often appears before anyone has time to document it properly. A support specialist spots an issue, a consultant finishes a call, or a colleague needs to explain a process that is easier to show than describe. Reconstructing the details later takes time and often leaves out something important.
The Siesta AI Mac app lets you capture that context while it is still fresh. Record the screen, save an audio note, or dictate a quick Wisp without writing everything from memory. The result is fewer steps between noticing something important and preserving it for colleagues.
Chat with agents from the Mac app
The Mac app includes Chat, giving users access to Siesta AI agents directly from their desktop. Which agents are available depends on the organization’s Desktop App settings, the agent configuration, and the signed-in user’s permissions. For example, an organization can make an agent available in the Desktop App while limiting access to the users who need it. This gives organizations control over which agents appear in the desktop application.
Record your screen with the context included
Screen recording is useful for product walkthroughs, bug reports, internal training, and asynchronous handoffs. Choose the display you want to record and include your microphone, system audio, or both. A short recording can show the exact sequence behind an issue more clearly than a long written explanation. Uploaded recordings appear in Siesta AI with their duration and transcription status. When a transcript is available, colleagues can review the content without replaying the entire recording.
Capture audio notes before details disappear
Not every update needs a screen recording. The built-in audio recorder lets you capture a voice note, pause and resume when needed, name it, and upload it to Siesta AI. Audio notes are useful after customer calls, internal discussions, or site visits. A short spoken update can preserve the decision, context, and next step while the details are still clear.
Create quick notes with Wisps
Wisps are a quick way to capture thoughts without interrupting what you’re doing. Type a short note or use your voice to save an idea, reminder, or anything you want to come back to later. Everything stays stored locally on your Mac, and you can easily copy or delete individual notes. For voice capture, the global Wisp shortcut supports both Toggle and Push to Talk modes. You can use on-device Apple Speech, which can work offline, or your organization’s configured transcription service.
Get Siesta AI for Mac
The app requires macOS 15 or later. It supports multiple languages, configurable shortcuts, preferred audio devices, and light, dark, or system themes. Permission settings show when microphone, speech recognition, screen recording, or accessibility access is required.
