Sklik integration: automate campaigns with Siesta AI

Sklik integration: automate campaigns with Siesta AI

Siesta AI now includes a dedicated Sklik integration (via Sklik API Drak). Instead of exporting results and applying changes manually, teams can run a controlled loop: measure, explain, propose, approve, execute, log. The result is less context switching and faster, more consistent campaign operations.

What the Sklik integration connects

The connector provides programmatic access to Sklik accounts through Sklik API Drak, including versioned endpoints such as v5. It exposes structured methods for both reporting and account operations, so workflows can read performance data and then act on the exact objects that caused it.

  • Campaigns and groups
  • Keywords and negative keywords (including safe upsert via keywords.set)
  • Ads and sitelinks
  • Shared budgets
  • Retargeting lists and combinations
  • Conversions (where allowed by account restrictions)
  • Performance reports for campaigns, groups, ads, keywords, queries, and retargeting

Safe automation, not blind automation

Most teams do not need a bot that changes everything. They need a system that validates changes, routes approvals, and keeps an audit trail. API Drak supports a validation-first approach (list, check, create or update, remove or restore). Reporting follows a create-then-read pattern, which helps keep scopes tight and reduces the risk of rate limit issues.

What you can automate with the Sklik integration

  • Weekly reporting with answers: generate a report, explain drivers, and reference the exact campaigns, groups, or queries.
  • Keyword and negatives maintenance: detect waste from query data, suggest negatives, and upsert keyword changes safely.
  • Budget pacing, including shared budgets: flag pacing risks, propose controlled reallocations, then execute after approval.
  • Sitelink hygiene: standardize sitelinks, roll out updates, and audit coverage across campaigns and groups.

Governance and reliability

The integration is designed for enterprise realities: session-based authentication, managed-account access, explicit handling for partial success (206) and rate limiting (429), and approval-driven workflows that keep changes traceable.

Where to start

Start with two workflows: a weekly performance report (campaigns, groups, queries) and a scheduled keyword and negatives routine with human approval. You will feel the impact quickly: fewer manual exports, fewer ad hoc requests, and a tighter loop from insight to action.
